No, RezTek has NOT run out of Money... (What Money? :)... RezTek is still
pushing and working at the card, and you might hear something within, say,
the next 3 months (Finished Product? Who knows? :)
But the Project definitely is NOT dead, by any means. Speaking to Bill,
he said "I've spent over 5 years working on this thing, and I'm not giving
up now that it's so close..." or something to that effect. It's a rather
impressive product (with all the surprises you guys will find out when it's
released) and I've seen it take a 640x480x256 Picture and display it about
as good as a nice IBM Viewer (and looked better than the Pic did on the
Amiga).
As for Wolf 3D being done on a GS.. Read that in "Game Developer" Magazine?
that's old news. Did you know the guys from Id were the Founders of Softdisk
GS? Old ties to the Apple II world... sigh...
a Great bunch of guys... Not doing GS Stuff now to my knowledge, but I still
wish them well (With all the posts saying how they suck on alt.games.doom...)
