The Sider

The Sider is a SASI (Shutgart Associates Standard Interface) drive that
utilizes a Xebec controller card. The noise is because of the Seagate
Stepper motor mechanism. I have one that I ran pro-ssor.cts.com for about a
year, before I switched to a much quieter Quantum drive.

BTW, I have my Sider for sale, along with a truckload of software packed on
it, along with an 800K unidisk 3.5 and controller, and a 2400bps modem for
$500.00 obo. I also have the Sider/ProSel8 installation disk along with it.
