        Not for _all_ players.  Dave Tribby's own synthfile will handle the
supporting files in any folder, as long as you tell it where.  If you have
GNO or ORCA, synthfile will work just fine for you.  Alias "sf" to 
"synthfile -po -i /hard1/synthlab.music/" and you're set.
