Once upon a time, I saw an article explaining how the Apple II (not
GS) generates its video output. I remember it being a rather clever
hack involving a very small number of simple chips, and I'd really
like to find that article. (There was also something that explained
how to double the number of colors you could display -- this may have
been in the same article?)
I've looked through the FAQ and ftp archives without finding anything.
Can anyone give me a pointer to the magazine or book that this
appeared in?
Thanks.
