MusiX, if it's the translator, is odd. The conversions don't appear to
work with larger midi files. In any case that's not the reason for this 
note.

The midi files translated by your program are quite accurate. However, it 
seems to me we all need
 
(1) support for General Midi
(2) better instruments for SL.
 
Quite frankly, MIDISynth does not, to my ears, approach the quality of Diversi
Tune and it's because the instruments are not great. DT's need to be 
improved too, but I don't know if Bill is still thinking of that. We need
better instruments! Heck, and I really don't like saying this, I have heard
better mods coming out of IS's ModZap! Mind you, some of the translated 
sequences are quite good. But in general they don't sustain...
