Re: Wonderful ProDOS patch!



The whole point of using the patch is so you don't have to suffer
with the limited naming conventions of ProDOS with non-HFS volumes.

It's not as if I have some vendetta against people using HFS, it's
just that it's stupid to limit your choices if you don't have to.

Any program that lets the operating system judge the validity of
the filename (as any well written program should, to support all
of the foreign filesystems) will work fine. In addition, most
programs that don't are trivial to patch.

An interesting, but very slow way to do things.
