I don't know about DataTerm. But, ProTerm is a commercial program.  You 
can't download it legally.  In fact, it is illegal to make it available 
for download.  There is a publically available demo available, however.  
My opinion is that Proterm is worth every penny you have to pay for it.  
Just buy it!  Save yourself a bunch of hassle.
