I tried the same thing not long ago. I was gonna use a 105 with a 32 mb
ProDOS volume and an HFS volume on the rest. I formatted and partitioned the
drive on the Mac and had it going fine. Then I put the drive on the IIgs and
erased the 32 mb volume and turned it into ProDOS. Back on the Mac neither
volume showed up. So I just left the whole thing HFS and I chain the drive to
the 30 mb I have as a single volume on the IIgs and connect it to the Mac when
I need it. It works fine that way.
