MIDI Synth archives

Those of you keeping an eye on comp.binaries.apple2 or the uploads
directory of cco.caltech.edu will have noticed a whole bunch of Bach
MIDI Synth music posted this week. This afternoon I'll close out the
week with the tenth and final archive of Bach files. Next week, I'll
have some Chopin, Greig, Haydn, Schumann, Beethoven, and Mozart.

After the Jan/Feb issue of GS+ magazine is out, you can flood the
network with collections of your own MIDI Synth songs translated from
MIDI format! To subscribe (magazine w/disk: 3 issues - $20; 6 issues -

Until then, I will be willing do the translation for anyone who has a
"raw" MIDI file. (I won't do the assignment of instruments.) Just mail
me the MIDI file encoded in an ASCII format; the easiest would be to
shar (shell archive) the file, but I can also deal with binscii-ed
files. I'll translate the MIDI file and mail the results back to you
along with a summary of the translation and a description of the file
contents.
