How much more vapourware do we have to put up with? Windows has been running
on fast RISC workstations for quite some time. Hardly performance and
compatibility great. For one thing the video refresh is typically poor, and
few i/o operations are really supported.
 
The GS's sound capabilities far surpass those of the MacII.
 
The Ensoniq would not be easy to emulate on any current or rumoured RISC
based computer.
 
No doubt the micro versions of IBM's RISC will be nice, but don't get carried
away.
