We need to move this to csa2.comm :)

I'm using ProTERM 3.1 on a IIGS with 8/64 ZipGS, and a TCI LineLink 144e
modem. I'm using the Boca 14.4 RTS/CTS driver at the moment, default init
string. Serial port speed is 57600.

My modem connect message is:

CARRIER 14400
PROTOCOL LAP-M
COMPRESSION: V.42BIS
CONNECT 57600

I usually get sz binary (.shk) file transfers of ~1200cps, and binary (.gif)
and ascii text transfers of 1500-1520 cps. I have also used one of the v42
modem drivers with about the same results. I haven't tried adjusting any
modem init strings etc. Could someone please summarize the discussion of
a month ago about what maximum cps rates could be with 14400 v.42bis modems?

Please followup on csa2.comm!
