GS JPEG converter?

I recently downloaded version 0.3a of a JPEG converter for the GS, and I seem
to recall some not-to-long-ago discussion of a more recent program to
accomplish this task.  Does anyone know where I might find such a program? 
Yes, I _could_ use the Macs or PCs at work, but I'd like to be able to do it
at home, too.  Thanks for any info!
