I think you .SHK. They are files packed with ShrinkIt (8 bit or //gs version),
they save disk space like pkzip on the PC, or StuffIt on the Mac.
.bsq means the file is squeezed (usualy means SHKed), and has been encoded
with binscii; which turn binary files into text so you can post them to
news groups (usually comp.binaries.apple2) or mail them via. e-mail.

which was recently posted.
