The upgrade, if it's still available, is very simple --
If your //c has a serial # less than D500000 (like D479QRZ) and one of two
conditions exist :
- You have trouble with high speed (>1200 baud) serial communications
- You own a Unidisk 3.5 drive and can't use it
Apple will upgrade your motherboard to the Unidisk 3.5 version free.
There may also be a free upgrade if you own Apple's //c Memory Expansion
Card and don't have the memory expansion version ... I'm not sure on this one.
