You'll find that most other PC companies will do exactly the same thing: for
example, does Commodore do much thesedays for the 128 and 64? What about the
Vic-20? Does IBM still support the XT/AT/PCjr? (I don't know the answers to
these questions, but I can make a pretty good guess). I think the fact that
Apple held on the the // for as long as it did (15+ years is a pretty long
time in the world of computers) is amazing, and, while I wish they hadn't
abandoned it the way they did, well, such is life...good luck wherever else
you decide to buy from, and I hope you don't run into the same problem 5 or
10 years down the track...
