Access from FRANCE?

After reading "All About The Internet" in the latest issue of Shareware
Solutions II, a subscriber from Ville d'Avray, France wrote to me asking
how he could get net access.

While looking through some files I have, I found a NixPub from 1.5 years
ago that contained the following entry, but this site is not listed in the
latest/current edition of Nixpub:

Does anyone know if that site is still up?

If not, I seem to recall seeing several people online from France, and
believe that they use a system called CalvaCom. Could one of you from
France send me some info by email (joko@well.sf.ca.us) telling me how you
access the net. Please include any and all details, including phone
numbers and access fees, if any.
