On my 816 Paint, I can port from my //e to a IIGS. There is an 816 Paint
for the IIGS also, but I understand that there is some really hot paint
programs for the IIGS.

In answer to this, there are several IIGS products:

Paintworks Gold
Plantinum Paint
To name a few
