HELP... Zip Trouble

I have a Zip GSX Version 1.02 10/64....

In the past, the only problems I had had were due to the cable connecter
coming loose since the cable is so damn short, but now it's not being nice...

It was working fine yesterday, when I packed up the GS to bring it back to 
school, but now that' I'm here, it isn't working.  

The first time I turned it on, it gave me nothing, so I popped the top off and 
pushed on the cable connector.  Still nothing.

I took out the zip, and tested the continuity on the cable, and the cable seems
to be ok, so I tossed the zip back in.

Now when I turn it on, it gives me Fatal System Error 911, even tho the 
computer is cold, the top is off, I have a fan, etc... (even when I disconnect
the keyboard and mouse)... 

Of course, the computer works fine with the old 65816 in (as you can see by 
the fact that I'm typing ;)

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? (Jawaaaaaid ;)
