Well.. imagine scrolling thru about 50 menu items just to pop open XLoad? 
No, I can't possibly put all the items in one menu. Too many items to 
sift thru.

Neat :) But what you want would involve quite a bit more programming, and 
it's too WinFlate-y.

A program launcher would quit first, then launch your program, forcing 
you to reopen all your NDAs, which would be lame. An application switcher 
is a program with nifty whiz-bang code like Switch-It (tm Procyon Inc) 
that allows you to run multiple applications at the same time. I probably 
won't do either because of the aforementioned lameness.
