Deskjet Info (a request)

I recently requested and received some excellent advice regarding the DeskJet
and ended up buying one.  One respondent also referred to a file or program
that I should get to use with Appleworks Classic to make it work with the
DJ500.  I haven't been able to find such a program on any of the ftp sites,
at least not with a name that indicates what it would be.  If any one knows
what that reference pertains to I'd appreciate the info.  I'm aware that all
I should need might be the appropriate control settings for a custom printer
but I got the impression this file might contain those or additional info.
