Deaf help

I'm setting up a IIgs system for a deaf child.
I've got hardware needs which I've posted in the marketplace
section.
I'm wondering if there is hardware that emulates a TTY/TDD.
I've seen TTY advertized all over that computers do that,
but the TTY I'm used to is a little deal that beeps out baudot
codes (??) and if it hears a baudot code, it types
the letter onto the screen.  Can a IIgs be a TDD (telecommunication
device for the deaf)?
