Well, this is because the Zip is much faster than the designers of the
IIGS thought chould ever be, so sometimes it draws it, and erases it before
you can see it. The fix? There should be an option in the General or Monitor
(or maybe some other) graphical control panel under System 6.0 and later;
an alternative is the zipfix program (an init); look for it at cco.caltech.edu
(via ftp) in the directory pub/apple2/addons/init.
