Any Mac 800k drive will work on a IIc+, at least the Apple ones, don't
know about 3rd party drives. Your best bet is to get an "Apple 3.5
drive" since it has a daisy-chain port which will allow you to connect
5.25" drives as well. You should be able to find them used for $50-100.
