Apple IIe to PC keyboard interface???

Does an interface exist that would translate the apple IIe keyboard 
interface for use on an PC clone.

Why you ask?  Well, I have some proprietary custom keyboards designed to 
work in place of an Apple IIe keyboard.  They just plug into the ribbon 
cable jack on the Logic Board.  I would like to use these keyboards on 
the PC clones.

If an interface does not exitst, any information on how to design one 
would be helpful. Apple IIe or PC keyboard interface parameters etc...
