Try "The Broken Blade", based on the writings of JRR Tolkien, run on a 
IIe or a IIGS in Ballard...(206) 781-9424.  The sysop, King Aragorn III, 
wrote his own BBS software, and is quite knowledgable about II's.  
There's another BBS in Tacoma, but I forget the name...Appleseeds?  
There's also a user group in Silverdale, Grannysmith II, P.O. Box 2213, 
Silverdale, WA 98383-2213.  I think more BBS's are listed in the free 
Puget Sound Computer User...even the old Tech Alliance (formerly C.A.L.L.
