Hmm ... I'm sure I saw this somewhere, but I just can't remember anymore ...
anyway, if you're content with the built-in font, something like
cat >.printer
from say ORCA/Shell should work.

Well, to fill out forms, what else. It's a pain to have to do that with
a text editor, do a test print, see that it was wrong, try again, and again,
and again .... a program that prints out stuff as you type it (or after
every line you typed, so you can make little corrections) is great in this
case, provided you use a line-oriented printer :)
