PCT Disaster

I want to thank everyone who gave me info on trying to get my PC Transporter
working on a GS using a monochrome monitor. I did have the cable that someone
described and I connected it to an RCA end and when I went to boot it up I
could not get anything to work (not even the GS to boot). I pulled out the
manual to make sure I had everything hooked up right but I give up. I bought
the PCT a while back and found out I needed an RGB monitor. I only use it as a
RAM disk. I have never gotten it to work. In case there is a PCT genious out
there. I am using a ROM 01 gs, PCT is in Slot 7, I have an apple 3.5 hooked to
the smartport and a CT-20c hard drive (a smarport hard drive made for the //c)
plugged into the 3.5 (daisy chain). I know this is not the ideal setup but
when I sold off the //c I kept it. Its the only HD I have now.

To make a long story short, I plugged my Duo Transdrive into the PCT DB-19
connector, my 3.5 into that and tried to boot the computer. It would not boot.
At one time, I did have it booting and the transdrives constantly ran (months
ago) but I don't know what I did then that I am not doing now. I really would
like to be able to use this but for the life of me I do not know what I am
doing wrong. I have read through the manual time and time again. I AM LOST!

I just reconfigured my computer to take the transdrives out. If anyone can
tell me what I am doing wrong, please let me know. I guess I am a vegetable
now so break it down slowly! ;)

Thanks for all who provided input!
