I was never able to run America on Line's software in the //e; it kept
freezing when instructed to dial-out. According to AOL's people it was
because I used an Applied engineering Serial Pro card and the sw wouldn't
recognize but a SuperSerial. As the Serial Pro seemed to compatible with al
the rest of my sw, I just forgot about AOL with the //e.

CompuServe and GEnie -the two largest providers- do not offer any front end
for the //'s -however there's GEnie Co-Pilot, shareware, that works with 
White Knight-.
