Click on the "Default color palette" radio button before you pick
the mode you want to convert to (320 or 640). The problem is that the
GIF you converted uses a palette that is similar to the palette in the
original GIF. However, the system uses a standard color palette for
the desktop, so you need to make your picture use that palette.
