Yes, it could.  All you should need is a digital to analog converter and
the proper cables.  These sell from about $25.00 to $2500.00 depending
upon who/what/when/where you get it for the IBM clones.  And it would
probably only take one, not two.

If you are talking about an IBM PC XT (and not the current ms-dos
generation of computers), then no - it might take three of them. :)
The IBM PC XT was much slower than an Apple //e.

But today's machines?  When they are doing 3D animation on the fly?
They're fast enough.
