The latest version of Merlin is called Merlin 8/16+. It includes four
assemblers: Merlin-8 for DOS 3.3, Merlin-8 for ProDOS-8, Merlin-16 for
ProDOS-8 (requires a 65802 or 65816 processor to run the assembler),
and Merlin-16+ for GS/OS.

Merlin-8 is the equivalent of Merlin Pro. I haven't used Merlin-8
much because I have a IIgs, so I use Merlin-16+. Merlin-8 seems to be
an improvement on Merlin Pro.

I don't know if Roger Wagner Publishing offers upgrades from old versions
of Merlin, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I don't have their address
and telephone number handy - E-mail me and I'll give it to you then.
