    You don't find 57.6k to be adequate?  Certainly you're not
*desperate* for faster!  The only advantage to going over 57.6k now or
in the near future is to have even more blindingly fast text dumps into
your scrollback.  v.fast at 28.8k probably won't be able to push more
than 3500 CPS through your modem port anyway when transferring
compressed files.  57.6k is definitely sufficient for that.

    Another thing to consider regarding your BBS:  if the other
computer's DTE rate is only 38.4k or 57.6k, it won't matter how fast
your serial port runs because it will have to flow control to keep pace
with the slower end.  How many people do you know have modems or
computers capable of 115.2kbps?
