Not surprising - the IIc+ was not released outside the USA. I see
you're from Australia.
I believe the computer bombed somewhat. It was released in 1988.
I know about it thanks to reading reviews in various magazines. I've
never seen one (though I would like to get hold of one, to complete my
collection.) :-)
I don't have any detailed descriptions handy, but from memory:
- It has an accelerated 65C02 processor, running at about 4 MHz. This
uses similar caching techniques to the ZIP CHIP; the interface to the
computer is still 1 MHz.
- An internal 3.5" drive (compatible with the Apple 3.5 Drive).
External 5.25" drives can be connected.
- Mini-Din-8 serial connectors, like the Macintosh and IIgs. I don't
know what serial chip it used.
- A memory expansion slot, for which no-one ever made a memory
expansion card, as far as I know.
