from what ive heard and gotten my hands on, metal gs, is not a functional
program..all that was ever released (to my knowledge), was a very very small
begining...NONE of the core routines are fully functional and the like.
Since tc pulled out..I dont think anyone has pursued metal gs.
 
 a alternative to gbbs, would be macos and DDBBS (evan molnar) aka mr. atoz..
he wrote a bbs (dddbs) under metal, it is quite good. If interested, his
net address is 1:2604/107 (fido). fruity dog is also a co-project of
ours..running the fido links with either acos or macos. (soon metal)
