You likely won't be able to make PhoneNet type boxes any cheaper than
you can buy them ($10-15 at most, available for less in some places).
The actual Apple Localtalk boxes are far more complex and are self
terminating.. (the PhoneNet type boxes come with terminators, which is just
a resistor in a phone jack type thing)
