Well, as I said to Lim Thye Chean (I hope I got your spelling right) in
a reply, I've found that I had mostly the same problems, but they really
cleared up after I put a desk fan pointed at the TOP of my monitor.
Apparently, if the monitor's cooled, heat can move up from the IIGS and
the system gets much better behaved.
