If the HP 4L is similar to the HP 4 then it should have both serial
(RS-232) and parallel ports. For this particular set-up with two
computers sharing the same printer I would connect the IIgs to the
serial port with a Mac Plus to Imagewriter I cable and use the
parallel port for the PC. Your best bet is to ask HP directly about
the HP 4L. HP product information is at (800) 752-0900.
