Fair enough.  I missed part of the thread and when I saw the words
"Ethernet converter" I naturally assumed...  The SCSI Ethernet devices work
pretty well, though of course not as fast as bus-based NICs.  Also, PCs now
have Parallel Ethernet adaptors (as well as Parallel SCSI adaptors).
