uploading problems

Hello, I am enjoying postings to the repective binary group quite much,
even tho //e related stuff is few and far between.

I have a problem tho contributing.  It seems that for some reason I can't
upload files to my unix account.  Downloading works just fine, but for
some reason either my apple (//e w/ super.comm serial card - SS, Qmodem
(2400baud), and Point-to-Point term. prog. using Xmodem xfer) is sending
the wrong 'I'm Ready to start transmitting' character, or my unix shell is
sending the 'I'm ready to receive' not enough times (only once).

Any help from the apple end (or unix) of things?
