IIgs & Networked Printers

I have a IIgs printer which was tied to an Imagwriter II printer and doing
quite nicely for my kids.  The IWII died on us and the cost to repair would
have been $235.  Not worth it!  So we tied the IIgs to the network of Mac's
we have in the house and can now print to the laser printer on the newtwork.

All if fine for native IIgs programs.  My question is ...."Is there a patch 
or 3rd party utility that would allow older IIe programs or IIgs program 
which don't use the toolbox to see the laserwriter and print to it?"

Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
