I can guarantee that the RamFAST has nothing whatsoever to do with 3200
pictures banding- 3200s band a lot as it is, due to how they're created.

The RamFAST doesn't use interrupts; the RamFAST does DMA in large
blocks, which can shut out interrupts.
The problem with the TWGS is bad design on the part of the TWGS, and
a bit of overengineering on the part of the RamFAST.

3.01b had some problems, but I don't recall any of them being crashing
bugs. What situation does this happen in? More likely than not it's
some INIT or DA you've got installed.
