What I recommend to folk needing ftp (or other) type help is that they
do something like this. First, tell us what exactly you are trying to do.
Something like this: "When I ftp ftp.site.edu:/path/to/the/file, and then
download it to my Apple IIefg, I am unable to get version 123 of the apple
ii pgm abcde to open it". Then, include an exact script of as much of
what was done as you can. Show us the ftp login, the cd to the directory,
you turning on the binary mode in ftp, you getting the file, you starting up
the download software on Unix, and then tell us what communication package
youa re using on your Apple IIefg . Then perhaps some of us would
be interestged in trying out your circumstances.
