*Sigh* inews told me my article was being rejected. I tried in 5-minute
intervals twice more and then gave up, only to discover then that all
three times the blasted thing (xrn) did indeed post. Stupid machine.

True. Let's be frank here: I use news, mail, and ftp. And that's it.
Well, maybe not all of it ... archie, irc, gopher come to mind. But
I use two of the seldom, and form the other I try to get away :)
So, I can't comment on the rest of I-Net :)

Gives me the heebies just thinking about it. I've become interested in
system security lately, and it's a mess ... even on a stable system like
SunOS 4.1.1. I don't even want to think about allowing anyone access to my
GS ... no thanks :)
I never got any particular kicks out of having people on my machine,
which is why I never even set up a BBS .. there are enough already
in Munich as it is.
