The Apple II (8bit) when compared to the C64 t when both were big sellers
nationwide.
Crappy graphics
Crappy sound (coming out of the computer and not the monitor)
Crappy point-of-sale procedures
Crappy after-sale-support from dealers
Crappy price to performance ratio
But what kept and keeps the II going over the C64? Love. I remember
a long time ago when my 64k Franklin ruled the world, and there were BIG
rag (now called flame) wars. Commie vs Apple.
For some reason, the Apple side always ended up winning. We just had more
love for some reason.
