A Floppy called 'Fang'

I know it's been done to death, but I've applied patches, changed the
Aux type and STILL I have that dreaded extra floppy showing up on my
desktop. I've resorted to redrawing the icon with IconEd, putting a
cross though it, and named it 'Fang'. Do I have to live with it.. or
is there another removal method short of painting a black spot on my
monitor? Apart from that I LOVE 6.0.1 :)
