Apple II Binscii help...

Well, sorry I took so long for your reply, i've had several hundred
messages in my internet mailbox, anyhow, All the files posted in
comp.binaries.apple2 in UseNet are in Binscii format, then in Shrint-It
format. You need to obtain a program that will decode the message from
Binscii into a ProDos file. Then use Shrink-It to unpack it. The only
purpose of Binscii is to transfer a Binary file into a ASCII TXT file to
use on Internet/UseNet.

Hopefully someone will be able to send you some info on a Apple II Binscii
program since a duplicate of this message is being sent to the
comp.sys.apple2 NewsNet NewsGroup. If you are on a Apple IIGS, & have
System 5.0.4, 6.0, or 6.0.1, there is the GSCII+ NDA that will decode the
programs.

I think I answered all your q's, if not, let me know, ps.: you can ask the
entire Apple II community (almost) by posting a message to comp.sys.apple2
or e-mailing your message to info-apple@apple.com .

PSS: You sent the reply to ai260@freenet.carleton.ca, I'm a foreign to
them, my origional address is dpfarrer@cap.gwu.edu . But you can send
e-mail to anyone of my accounts & in seconds it'll be forwarded to my
local account for e-mail.

I hope this will help you to get the VAG (Virtual Art Gallery) program
working, VAG is an Apple IIGS application & will only work on a IIGS, not
a IIe, IIc, or II+, sadly to say.
