Re: Procyon vs Seven Hills, why?

I lean toward Procyon... for a very specific reason.. with few
exceptions, their software works with everything out there - GNO can
multitask virtually any desktop program with any number of UNIX like
programs - all in all, there is less hassle involved. The Manager
REQUIRES programs be written speifically to take advantage of the
way it operates (it doesn' matter if it's a 2 byte change or 200 - the
point is, existing programs generally freak when used with The Manager)

I think Procyon was correct in their thinknig here... program for the
existinsoftware - don't try to force the world to change. Eventually,
if their software catches on, new applications will be "GNO aware"..
but they politely (and correctly) leave that choice up to the programmer
and consumer.
