No, not exactly. .shk files on a foreign file system like unix are 'binary'
files. filetype ($e0 or LBR) and auxtype ($8002) are _not_ part of this file.
You must explicitly set them on your download program if you want them
that way, or change type later with a utility program. A binary II file
is a 'binary' file on any system. When the binII wrapper is removed by
the dnloading pgm or utility, the original filetype, auxtype, create and
modify dates, etc. of the original file are restored.

It is _not_ too late. We have received $175 donations in the last week
(that is 3 very generous donations :-) ). The total is now $1065. That
is enough to get a 1Gig drive, no problem. Except a 1.5Gig drive is only
around $1100+. I don't have a firm price quote yet. If so, a few extra
$$$ will make a 1.5Gig drive possible. Any extra $$$ received at this time
will go toward making a CD of the archive if we ever do one. We'll try not
to deposit more money than is needed at this time. I suppose we could return
excess late donations. But then you won't get recognized as a contributor
to the archive.

Which, by the way, brings me to another question. I intend to list the
contributors names in a acknowledgement (read.me) file in the archive. If
anyone does _NOT_ want their name listed, please inform me by e-mail SOON!
Otherwise your generosity and benevolence will be made known - forever! :-)

Also, if yours was one of the few checks which did not clear you are welcome
to resubmit a contribution. I don't know which checks didn't clear so I
can't contact you. The others should know from their bank statements by now
if we have their money.
