$50 is quite steep for a CD-ROM IMO, consider it will be containing 
PD/freeware/shareware mostly.  The thought of moving Apple // development
stuff to it is cool though ( licensing, of course ), and that may be 
more justified with $50 price tag.

I guess I'll have check how much small quantity CD-ROM duplication will
cost.  I honestly think it shouldn't be more than $10/disk even with
relatively low volume.  

If we can keep the price under $50 ( I mean well under! ), then half year
or annual updates is what I would vote for.  It can be great for user
groups, BBSes... etc.  I personally would probably not buy one though, a big 
reason I'm paying netcom is to get FTP.
