You should be able to talk to EtherTalk devices from a IIgs if it is
connected via LocalTalk to a Macintosh which is running the AppleTalk
Network Routing software, and has an EtherNet card.

I doubt that you could support non-AppleTalk protocols over Ethernet
in this manner, though.

Another possibility would be a SCSI-to-Ethernet converter, but someone
would have to write a lot of software to support it.
